About the Speaker

Dr Amy Anderson joined North Central in 1999. She teaches New Testament and Greek every semester, and is the regular instructor for Johannine Literature. She loves to talk to students about ancient Greek manuscripts, preparing for grad school or seminary, and university ministry.

After growing up in Sheldon, Wisconsin, Dr A studied Dairy Science at the UW-River Falls, where she also became a student leader with Chi Alpha campus ministries in 1976. Since then she has pastored university students and mentored leaders at River Falls, the University of Munich, Germany, the University of Koeln, Germany, the University of Birmingham, England, the University of Minnesota, and Macalester College, and currently serves on the Minnesota Chi Alpha Leadership Council. Dr Amy lived in Germany as a campus missionary for nine years and was privileged witness the reunification of Germany.

Dr A teaches a seminar called The Biblical Literacy Project for churches and Chi Alpha groups, and is the advisor for the North Central University Biblical Studies Society, which you can find (and join) on Facebook. She frequently has students at her house for German breakfast, British cream teas, Charlie parties, and game nights.
